Character Backstory

When Jack was 6 he got lost at Disney world. His family had split up, half of them wanted to do the big rides and the other half wanted to do the kiddie rides. They had a meet time of 6:00 at the rainforest cafe, so when he couldn't find his family, he figured he would just meet them at the rainforest cafe at 6:00. He spent the whole day enjoying rides while his family spent the whole day looking for him. He was the only one to have any fun that day.

The importance of this part of the backstory is that he has a very strong sense of independence. This will play an important roll in his exploration of the world of Mare.

King Carl grew up with 6 older siblings. It was difficult for him to get a word in and the family had little time to give him. As a result, He became short-tempered and insecure always used to being showed up by his younger siblings. Now that he finally has some power it easily goes to his head. This is important to the story because it is ultimately what leads to Jack's banishment from the castle.
