Character Exploration
Quirky people in my life who feel like they came right out of a weird book:
T: is a passionate film director who has been in lifelong pursuit of his dream and all seems to be going in his favor. At the age of 20, he has directed music videos, short films, commercials, is at the top of his class and has won many awards. He is a networking genius and easily makes people feel comfortable. His love life is so complicated it is almost comical. Despite all this, he toils with himself daily. His temper is sometimes short though he means the best granted my temper would be short too if I was raised in a house with 4 kids that's enough to drive anyone nuts.
M: An 11-year-old who is fascinated with plants and generally being a goofball. he is a killer soccer player and has a nasal laugh that is rather endearing. despite his innocent demeanor, he is full of inappropriate jokes and it's always safe to assume his head is in the gutter.
Q: A card magician and a Youtuber. he enjoys making ridiculous short films filled with jokes that only he understands. He has very little understanding of standard social conduct partially due to his Aspergers. His love for film and magic are pure and he sticks close to his friends
J: A girl with her head in the clouds. She has hair that changes color on a weekly. All her clothes are custom made by her father. Her parents met at the renaissance fair and are both renowned artists locally. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, drawing, and origami.
G: Extremely competitive and excels at whatever he does. His drive to win is only topped by his unrestricted urge to trash talk his friends in a routine that makes him difficult to play games with. outside of his close friends, his character is markedly different. He is timid and will go to all lengths to avoid unnecessary social interaction.
A: very confident. always making up his own worlds and has a talent for dragging others in with him. also has a bit of a temper.
G: Is wealthy but hides it well. He is humble and devotes his life to his family. He somehow gets expensive cars for free and drives them through fields. He is also a great source of wisdom
H: A mom friend who is always chasing after some guy who isn't interested. Honestly, they would all be lucky to get her. She sometimes feels lost as far as what direction to take her life but trusts that God will lead her to where she needs to be.
C: An older woman who has recently retired from pastoring. She is somewhat quiet but somehow knows someone wherever she goes. She is highly strategic and competitive and has a passion for puzzles. She always surprises you with what she can do. but most importantly she is a builder of communities.
S: A 13-year-old boy who knows way too much for his age (and not in a good way) due to his older brothers and sisters. He is overconfident until the second something doesn't go his way. Then he breaks down instantly. He also cares a lot about people and is definitely a hugger.
J: troubled soul, rough background. Brother is in prison for 40 years. Dad disowned her after she refused to meet his soon to be 7th wife. She is a fighter who doesn't take crap. You have to earn her respect cuz she sure won't give any out for free.
L: A sweet girl who is introverted to the extreme... until you get her on the dance floor, then she will rock your socks off! I once met one of her friends and mentioned that L and I go dancing together and she replied that I must have the wrong person.
M: A really sweet girl who won't stop talking. She has been through a lot and you will hear all about it.
J: A college student with a bit of a stutter and is very self-deprecating, but he takes a genuine interest in other people and is always there to help if you need it.
